erine the elk

Ernie the Elk. A step carving on glass. All done by hand. I cut the art out with a x-acto knife and then as I am sand-carving i take off different layers to achieve depth. Erine is on a 4"w X 3" h X 3/4" thick glass. I can do any object or text that some one would like to get for a unique gift or just to support the arts.

Down & Out

Bummer, Did not make the up & coming artist in the WNC rag. Was hoping it would help boost my fine art career. When something like this happens , you dust yourself off and when push comes to shove you keep on working and working and working. Don't weep for me Argentina... this work is from my "If I was A Bi-Pod" Reverse Glass Painting. Next week I will post my last 'Beautifully Broken" work. No one wants to by a painting with a crip in it.
